Soroban is a computational method based on an ancient counting tool. Originating as a merchant's calculation tool in China, Soroban was introduced to Japan and applied in education by the people of the Land of the Rising Sun to develop talent and achieve surprising records in mental calculation.

Only recently has this superior computational method started to be introduced to Vietnam, gaining recognition from many parents who care about their children's development.

Considered as a form of mental gymnastics, Soroban engages both brain hemispheres perfectly. While the left hemisphere processes numbers and computational data, the right hemisphere focuses on processing images of the counting tool to quickly produce accurate results.
